If you EVER want to see how Texan's party "uptown", attend THE social event of the year in Dallas, TX ... the Cattle Baron's Ball. I don't think I looked anyone in the eye because there were soooo many great boots that caught my attention. Sad, isn't it ... I go to a social function and scope out what people have on their feet! Yep, I'm definitely obsessed!

The Cattle Baron's Ball was held at the Southfork Ranch outside of Dallas on Saturday, September 29, 2007, to benefit the American Cancer Society. Hmmmm, that place sound familiar? Well then, we know you watched TV in the 80's. That's right, J.R. Ewing's place on the hit TV show "Dallas." All that was missing was the big West-Texas hair and that back-stab'n Ewing clan!

The stylish crowd was entertained by Big & Rich, with some help from Cowboy Troy, and Brad Paisley on two separate outdoor stages. It was a beautiful night for outside concerts, great food and entertainment ... AND an awesome display of boots!
