The evening gown competition during this week's Miss Universe pageant in Vietnam proved a slippery slope for beauty queen Miss USA Crystle Stewart, as it did for last years Miss USA Rachel Smith. We're thinking it's their shoes. On today's The Early Show fellow shoe expert Miss Meghan notes heel heights have exponentially increased [1] over the last few years, and tells us how to navigate in them.





Nina footwear provided the footwear for the swimsuit competition during the Miss USA pageant held in Las Vegas earlier this year, and shuzsociety was close enough to see Miss Crystle glide in them in style. Nina footwear also provided the golden T-strap "Gaticus" for every contestant in this year's swimsuit competition. Miss Dayana Mendoza of Venezuela was crowned Miss Universe 2008.
