Q: Why do you love shoes?
A: Outside of perfume, they are the single thing I can put on and really feel sexy. I get a secret kick out of wearing a knock out pair of strappy heels with a bridesmaid dress and then a pair of jeans the next night.

Q: If you could design the perfect pair of shoes, what features would they have?
A: Absolutely must have a heel.

Q: Who is your favorite shoe designer?
A: I'm really into Marc Jacobs shoes right now. Forever love Manolo Blahnik, Pliner, Frye boots, more.

Q: What shoe trend would you like to see disappear?
A: Living in CO I see more Crocs than I can bear. Listen, I get if you only wear them in the garden or to walk your dog. But please don't wear them in public. They are hideous.

Q: What is your most favorite shoe style of all time?
A: The black pump! Jeans, dresses, skirts, whatever, timeless and perfect.
