These are good times ladies and if you weren't at this weekend's event "Wine, Women & Shoes" you may have missed them. Brainchild of Elaine Honig, "Wine, Women & Shoes" [1] to date has had more than twenty WW&S events across the country, with more than 6,000 attendees, and has raised more than $2 million for women's and children's causes.

T-town welcomed footwear designer Angelo of Angeleigh Anastasio to the event who showed (and sold) his spring 08 collection of women's shoes. Tulsa's own Miss Jackson's was representing, as was The Glass Slipper, J. Cole and Saks Fifth Avenue.

Thursday night was a wine and shoe pairing. Among the vintners were Gabrielle Collection, Calistoga Cellars, Gruet and Hahn Family Wines. For the full list, check out Tulsa's site [2]. The beneficiary: YWCA who vows to eliminate racism and empower women. Friday night was the much-anticipated patron dinner at the renowned Gilcrease Museum [3]. And Saturday entertained with a who's-who fashion show of area women then wine tasting, mingling and shoe shopping.

Julie Adams, last week's "fab friday" winner joined the festivities along with her friends and we lucked out with a photo snap IN HER "Shannon Britt" SHOES! We love them on you, Lady! We were also happy to meet Sharon Gallagher, VP of community investments at Tulsa Area United Way. She was the lucky winner of a pair of Angeleigh Anastasio shoes AND an "obsessed" membership to shuzsociety for a year ($220 value). She chose the rhinestone-encrusted sandal "Margherita" in Nero/White. And, I think I detected a certain giddiness in her acceptance gait.

It was a great three-days of events. Thank you Ladies for all of your support! We sole sister's do stick together!
