wedges are quite necessary for your current wardrobe. springtime wedges get fixed up with cork, espadrille detailing and add canvas to the mix — they add height without the headache, that is, unless you spill yourself on the sidewalk as i did in mine at last years reception... i blogged a pic of my knee caps, but you'll have to search our site if you really want to see them.
this pair, by KORS Michael Kors is aptly named "Danger." perhaps more a nod to it's four-alarm fire-red patent leather, than a warning for one's ability to walk in them. under $230 at shoes.com [1]. and speaking of shoes, have you seen their new site? it's friendly, and has a good selection from brands you know: Donald J. Pliner, Kenneth Cole Reaction, Ugg and Calvin Klein to name but a few. but, again, i digress.
while Michael Kor's heels moved from sturdier and girthier silhouettes, fall of 07, to the lighter KORS Michael Kors cut-out wedges and dainty, girlie flats we see this spring (and, don't forget the MICHAEL Michael Kors sneaker wedge he marched down the runway), the world is not without it's share of flattering knock-offs. case in point, today's TheSun.UK posting of Cutting Wedges [2], complete with Saskia Quirke's picks from High Street.
