Carolina Pagano’s Spring 2010 collection
Carolina Pagano, the luxurious Made in Brazil shoe and accessory brand, is delivering their Spring 2010 collection in stores now.
“For Spring 2010 we are about texture and pop colors. We’ll be seeing a lot of contrasts and embellishments,” offers designer Carolina Sadowski. “For Spring 2010 we decided to use natural fibers like jute and linen to add texture, which we used in our best seller shoe Maribel.”
Nude hues, perhaps Spring 2010’s hottest trend, plays a big part in the collection. “And the pop of color comes in some pipings and in the strapy sandal Kate, both in bright cyan and fuscia. I believe the bright colors are a great way to spice up your outfit.”
Overall, the collection speaks to designer Sadowski’s summers in Brazil. “The vivid hues of Brazilian bikinis and neutral tones of sand and jute compose an exquisite color palette ranging from luscious fuchsia to brilliant gold.”
“My inspiration for the Spring 2010 Collection was to provide something that is both alluring and fascinating for women to wear, while also telling a magical tale through beautiful shoes.”

Spring Fling: It’s a nude thing…

Art can never exist without naked beauty displayed.
~ William Blake
Naked beauty is making a big statement this season. Fashion houses moved toward nude and ice-cream colors rather than eye-popping color of season’s past. Subtleties of tone are essential for spring. Think, nude. You will see nude with peach with washed out nutmeg, or gray with icy blue. Hints at nudity (with the use of fabric choices, silhouettes and color palates) infused the runways of Burberry Prorsum (nude trench coats), Celine, Valentino, Victoria Bartlett’s VPL “Anatomy” collection and Marc Jacobs.
2010’s first shuzscopes featured nude colors in wild shapes.

Sendra Boots Spring 2010 Trends
shuzsociety’s Spring 2010 trend report features Sendra Boots, one of the most respected names in boot-making. It began as a family-owned business in Spain that has been crafting quality boots ever since. Sendra Boots Spring 2010 line demonstrates why they are one of the hottest boot lines today!
“The drive for spring is going to be embellishments and unique materials. Anything with studs or chains, and distressed leather will still be on the hit list. For us [Sendra], colored zippers are an interesting new detail we have added this season on our classic styles such as the bellstaff motorcycle boot, for example. The new red zipper on black boots has received a tremendous response. Spring 2010 will also bring softness, like suede in neutral colors - with or without blackening details. For Fall 2010, Shearling with zipper, and shearling collar is also one of the season’s favorites.”
~ Jamie Lawenda, Designer, Sendra Boots
