Fendi Python-effect Leather Sandal

Before we agree on just how sizzle’n hot this scrumptious footwear is from Fendi, let’s review the meaning of the word “effect.”
effect: the result or consequence of some action or process. A chain reaction or reaction.
This is a fact … when you wear the gorgeous coral leather Fendi python-effect platform sandals, you will definitely cause a “chain reaction” when you walk into the room!
The wooden heel measures approximately 120mm / 4.5 inches with a 20mm / 1 inch platform. The Fendi sandals have a nude leather strap across the arch, a black and white python-effect back and ankle strap with a designer-stamped zip-fastening at back. Ssssssssss-izzzzzlen!!!
Retail $930. Available at net-a-porter.com
J Shoes in the news…

Sauntering through Austin’s The Domain—our latest shopping destination—for a little spring fling (retail-therapy, folks!), I peeked into Martin + Osa for some casual eye-candy. They carry a tight collection of nicely-appointed leather shoes, one such designer being J Shoes ~ “with a practical approach to fit and fashion.”
With boots hovering around the $200 mark, check out their Furlong in Stone/Grey combo (dreamy!) and sandals around $100, you’ll not only step out in casual style, but be able to step a LONG way… Their “Estelle” tri-colored tan gladiator, with the saucy rear zipper, will make you finally bust out and slip into a pair of what seemed a tired trend. Maybe you fancy the Copper/Sea Blue combo?
Anywho, while surfing J Shoes’ blog, which they update not-every-day but quite regularly, I noticed a nod to British indie rock band, Athlete. J Shoes helped outfit the band for their “Black Swan” album press junket. And since Austin has been hosting SXSW for 23 years, and it’s happening THIS WEEK, I thought for sure Athlete would be here! AND THEY ARE.
Did you know, you can now shop for your favorite shoes—just click on “shop” and enter in your favorite designer—they might just be J Shoes—on our new shuzsociety.tv? Check this out… Happy walking!

March has started with a bang, Ladies! The Bachelor finally settled on his true love. The Oscars gave us oodles of glamorous dresses. And we are surely promised a reprieve from the gloomy weather. Want to kick the cold weather to the curb? Step out in studs. Not only on last years’ gladiators, studs adorn skimmers, pumps and booties this season… and they’re looking good. Still need more, be sure to see which pair keeps you celestially well-heeled in this month’s shuzscopes…
Let’s start with the super-charged studs and rhinestones on Report’s “Bowery” peep-toe, side-zip bootie. $325 at Zappos.com.
Charles David “Gazebo” strappy leather slingback sandal with studded vamp and cork platform. $274.95 at Zappos.com.
A sporty number is N.Y.L.A.’s “Slinger” open-toe leather slingback bootie with studded detailing and 5″ heel. $109.99 at Heels.com.

The Bachelor’s Vienna in gold heels…

Ok, I admit, Stephinitely was front-row watching the finalé of ABC’s The Bachelor, albeit alone! Let’s call it “fashion research” shall we? While I’m now hard-pressed to find anything about her shoes online, she donned a very beautiful Carmen Marc Valvo single-shouldered flowing gown. And it was pretty.
If memory serves (and don’t fault ME if it doesn’t because I’m simply having fun here), she sauntered toward him in a gold T-strap sandal… so, in honor of the happy couple… I’ve pulled together a few other steamy shoes worthy of any St Lucia stroll. First, a lady could not go wrong in a pair of vintage-inspired peep-toe pumps by Sergio Rossi. Style: A03541. Perhaps instead of the FIVE cars her Daddy has purchased, she’d rather take these Lime-colored snake-skin platforms for a spin. $999 at Zappos.com.
A pair of woven bird-cage platforms by Moschino, Style: CA1627BC0R, could be very forgiving for anyone trying to get extra mileage out of their pedi. I’m just sayin’. $604.00 at Zappos.com.
A pair of tri-colored daniblack “Romie” sandals would allow Vienna to graduate from Daddy’s “Little Princess” to status of “modern goddess.” $192 at Zappos.com.
And because Vienna is known as the naughty girl, a pair of “Decked Out 2″ suede platforms by Naughty Monkey. The printed-skin wrapped platform is gonna be smokin’ in the Big D! $79.94 at Zappos.com.
Last but not least, Vienna will need a pair of $#it-kicking heels for her nights in Dallas’ Honky-tonks…How about a pair from another blonde linked to Dallas? Jessica Simpson’s “Koolia” sandal is a fun boot-hybrid. Flashy! And the front-zip provides EASY access. Teehee. $89.99 at Heels.com.

A killer combo: Camilla Skovgaard for Amanda Wakeley shoes

The shoe collection collaboration between designer Amanda Wakeley and danish shoe designer Camilla Skovgaard, that first appeared at London’s Fashion Week in September 2009, are now available for you to walk in… “This is truly a shoe for women designed by a woman “ said Amanda Wakeley, “Supremely sexy but utterly comfortable and wearable. I know that I for one will be living in these shoes this summer!”
About Amanda Wakeley’s Spring/Summer collection: “Inspired from traditionally dressed Indian men and women, past and present, from Kerala to Rajasthan, by the way the women wear their sari’s with such creative ease; the soft silhouette; the flowing of fabric; the wrapping of the strong hot colours around the body; layering of textures; flashes of embellishment; flashes of skin between the choli and draped sari; the wrinkled texture of the churidaar and dhoti pants.”
About the shoe: “The Camilla Skovgaard for Amanda Wakeley Brown shoe has a suede outer, leather straps, leather lining and a leather soled, man-made platform. The heel height is 12.5cm and the platform is 2cm.” (That’s almost 5 inches of heel ladies!)
Still need more flash? The open silhouette and lighting-rod platform not enough? There’s a Zebra pattern.
