“I’ve been a shoe fanatic I think since birth.  When I look at photos from my childhood I can actually remember the shoes I was wearing and how much I loved them.  In high school, I had to have every color and style of Bass Weejuns and Capezios as soon as they were available (your older, Southern readers will know what I mean).

After 39 years in the corporate world, wearing heels and suits, I now live a very casual lifestyle at the beach.  So I choose from my collection of 40 or so pairs of flip flops each day.    When the weather is chilly or the occasion a little more formal, my choice is a comfy ballet flat.  And the ballet flat is actually my favorite shoe of all time.  They’re a classic that can be dressed up or down.  And now there are so many adorable styles from which to choose.

I love these Paul Mayer cap toe flats, very Chanel-ish, and I can’t wait to wear them.  I don’t have a favorite designer but maybe it will soon be Mr. Mayer.

Marcee: Really nothing..if it doesn’t appeal to me..I just don’t do it. That is why there is diversity…”for every foot there is a shoe”.

Marcee: The simple Black Pump. How this beautiful caterpillar has blossomed into a Butterfly with additions of crystals,or studs. Heel heights, leather textures…etc…
