Rosemary Olson just hates shoe shopping! She wears a size 11 and as she told First Coast News, she's found that a shoe may be adorable in size 8, but, "by the time they make it in a size 11, it's not in proportion, it looks like a man's shoe."

Olson echoes what shoe lovers and fashion editors have said for years. Great shoes are hard to find past size 9. Try and find large Louboutin's, for example, or relate to a teenager who can't find cute shoes and gets "Big Foot" jokes aimed at her.

As a former college basketball player, Katie Kerrigan and her teammates knew all too well how difficult it was for tall women to find shoes that fit. So she created an Italian-made footwear line of her own and now, women of all sizes are snatching up her designer evening heels at boutiques across the nation.
